The Annual General Meeting of L’Oréal shareholders was held in Paris, on Tuesday, April 17th, 2012, under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. 

The Annual General Meeting in particular:

  • approved the parent company financial statements and the consolidated financial statements for 2011.
  • decided on the payment of a dividend of €2 per share, and therefore, for the first time, of a preferential dividend of €2.20, granted to the shares held in registered form continuously since December 31, 2009. This dividend will be paid on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
  • appointed three new Directors, for a 4-year term. 
  • renewed the tenure of two Directors, for a 4-year term.
